Freemove are a leading provider of pre-fabricated and bespoke Parkour Training Facilities.
We develop Parkour Training Facilities in consultation with Parkour Generations coaches, practitioners, and Parkour UK. We cater to all levels of ability, providing everything from simple balance and co-ordination challenges though to high end complex movement opportunities whilst maintaining the emphasis on safety. We use our vast experience in safety, leisure and Parkour to provide the industry’s leading consultation, design, manufacture, installation and Parkour education services.
This often means that we create facilities for a wide variety of ages, gender and physical abilities, equipping the spaces with opportunities for those new to Parkour and those that are experienced in physical challenges that Parkour involves.
We create obstacles that resemble existing urban architecture and existing natural shapes and position them in a way that natural and gradual progression is encouraged whilst maintaining a safe and controlled environment.
All Freemove Parkour elements and bespoke Parkour Training Facilities are designed to comply with the British Standard for Parkour BS 10075 and every product or Parkour Facility is independently risk assessed.
Freemove took an active part in the creation of the British Standard, having a member of our team on the steering group that created these standards; this ensures that every product and Parkour Training Facility we provide complies with the very latest version of this standard.
We have also produced ‘The Freemove Parkour Design Risk Assessment Guidelines’ which take into account the foreseeable use of the Parkour Training Facilities and equipment within them by different ages and levels of competency. Using data from relevant legislation, standards and publications we lower the foreseeable risks by utilising tried and tested control measures.
Our aim is to cultivate a wider understanding of Parkour and champion the development of Parkour Training Facilities. We also aim to connect practitioners and authorities and support them in working together to develop safe Parkour Training Facilities and help practitioners establish respectful, safe and active communities, encouraging them to learn through movement.
At the heart of our company sits our Parkour facilities development program; we aim to set an example to others taking part in the design, manufacture, supply, installation, safety analysis and standardisation of Parkour Training Facilities. The principle purpose of this program is to set a good example for us to follow. Doing this ensures we continue to move forward and remain centered around our primary aim of developing facilities in line with the philosophy of Parkour.
Our public dedication to the programme also serves as an assurance to experienced Parkour practitioners, making visible, further and persevering evidence that we have more than a commercial interest in Parkour and are in-fact dedicating laudable energy to the development of Parkour as a whole.
